Synchronous Long-Length Belts

Long-Length PowerGrip® GT®3 Belting

Long length PowerGrip® GT®3 belting is a cost effective, low maintenance drive alternative.

Markets/Applications
Well suited for linear movement, positioning and conveying applications.

Features/Advantages
  • Fiberglass tensile cord provides high strength, excellent flex life, and high resistance to elongation. Steel tensile cord is available in some belt types for added length stability.

  • Neoprene body provides protection against grime, grease, oil, and moisture.

  • Nylon tooth facing provides a durable wear surface for long service life.

  • The PowerGrip® GT2 belt tooth is designed for use with a specific sprocket groove profile. The sprocket groove-belt tooth combination increases capacity, while improving registration.

  • PowerGrip® GT®3 belts have more tooth ratchet resistance than HTD®.

  • Eliminates lubrication and re-tensioning reduce maintenance and labor as compared to roller chain drives.

  • PowerGrip® GT®3 belt/sprocket combinations match or exceed the positional accuracy of PowerGrip® Timing belt/pulley systems.

  • Fully operational in temperature extremes of -34°C to +82°C.

PowerGrip® GT2 Sprockets

Notes
Minimum order lengths for belting is 15 meters, ordered in 15 meter increments thereafter.

Minimum order lengths for some belting is 30 meters, ordered in 30 meter increments thereafter.

Continuous lengths, if needed, must be specified when ordering, and must be ordered in increments of the minimum order quantity (unless ordering the maximum continuous lengths).

Minimum order quantities may vary for non-standard widths. Continuous lengths may require lead times. Check with Customer Service.

Long-Length PowerGrip® HTD® Belting

PowerGrip® HTD® belts have a larger, more robust tooth profile for increased capacity, as compared to timing belts.

Markets/Applications
Long length PowerGrip® HTD® belting is a cost effective, low maintenance drive alternative that is well suited for linear movement, positing and conveying applications.

  • Eliminates lubrication and re-tensioning to reduce maintenance and labor required on drives.
