Gates Australia recently achieved great success at the 2024 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 11th to 13th April. The three-day event was a platform for the organisation to launch its newest 4WD belt line XtremeRunner on the first day, which drew the attention of attendees who were eager to learn more about the product.

Apart from showcasing XtremeRunner, the stand displayed other automotive products such as EV – electric water pumps, modular hoses, as well as its popular Timing Component Kits & Micro-V Kits. Attendees were impressed by the range of products on display, and the sales representatives were on hand to answer any question and provide further information.

One of the highlights of the stand was the ‘Spin-To-Win’ feature, where attendees could spin the wheel to win prizes that included XtremeRunner branded merchandise and other exciting items such as cooler stools and sunshades. Furthermore, in alignment with the launch of the newest 4WD product XtremeRunner, the attendees were delighted with over hundreds individually wrapped, X-shaped donuts daily.

A Gates XtremeRunner branded vehicle was also on display in the Expo’s stand for all visitors to see on arrival. The stand also featured a mini version of the vehicle on display, which the attendees could win in the prize draw by scanning the QR codes situated at multiple locations on the stand. The prize draw was a significant attraction, and many attendees were excited about the chance to win the mini vehicle.

Another highlight of the event was when Priscilla Robb (Marketing Manager - Gates Australia) was awarded the inaugural ‘Women at the Wheel’ award. The award recognises female professionals in the Automotive industry who have been successful in their careers and stand as role models, inspiring others through their commitment to supporting women in this industry.
