MELBOURNE, March 28, 2023 – Gates Australia has announced its sponsorship of junior racing driver Oscar Targett.

Oscar Targett, a highly promising young driver from the Grove Racing Junior team, has demonstrated exceptional skill and determination on the track. Oscar competes in two junior categories, the Toyota Gazoo Racing 86 Series, and the Porsche Sprint Challenge. Oscar believes participating in two vastly different categories is the “ultimate challenge” with the Porsche being a highly modified 480+ horsepower racecar and the 86 being a lower horsepower streetcar, both handling and driving very differently.

By sponsoring Targett, Gates aims to provide resources and technical expertise necessary for the development of his racing career.
