To qualify workshops had to purchase 6 or more Gates products from selected product ranges and register entries online. The qualifying product ranges included top and bottom radiator hose packs, timing component kits with water pumps, turbocharger hose packs, water pumps and timing belt sets. The more entries into the draw, the more chances workshops had to win. 

The Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider FXDL was a prominent feature on the Gates stand at the Auto Expo in April. Many visitors to the Gates stand could see themselves riding away on the brand new Harley and were looking forward to entering the draw.

Gates belts are still on Harley Davidsons today, including on the very Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider FXDL that Gates gave away! 

The draw was conducted at the conclusion of the promotion and the lucky winner was Cottage Lane Auto in South Australia. The Harley was delivered to Cottage Lane Auto as pictured in the image.
