Tom Pitstick serves as Chief Marketing Officer for the company with responsibility for the global marketing and product line functions around the world. Tom joined Gates as Senior Vice President, Innovation with responsibility for all Research & Development and Product Line Management around the world while driving closer alignment between what our end market customers need and the new, innovative products we engineer. He comes from the Electrical Sector of Eaton Corporation where he served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing – Electrical Sector. He also led the Business Development efforts at Cooper Industries prior to the merger with Eaton and has also worked in leadership roles for two different startup companies. Tom holds advanced business and engineering degrees from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Notre Dame University.
